The Ridgeway Surgery is seeking an experienced Practice Nurse to join our friendly team in Harrow for approximately 20 hours per week. You will provide a broad range of nursing services, including immunisations, screenings, wound care and long-term condition management, within a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Competenze

• Registered nurse with current NMC registration.
• Experience delivering a range of nursing interventions independently within own competence.
• Experience of vaccination/immunisation.
• Experience of cervical screening.
• Experience of wound care and dressings.
• Experience of maintaining accurate clinical records.
• Experience of working effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Evidence of recognising own professional boundaries and escalating appropriately.

Mansioni

• Cervical screening, childhood and adult immunisations, wound care and dressings, injections, long-term condition reviews and other treatment room activity according to competency.
• Seasonal vaccination programmes including influenza.
• Health promotion, lifestyle advice and preventative healthcare.
• Supporting patients to understand and manage their health conditions.

Formazione

Registered Nurse with current NMC registration

Recognised Practice Nurse or primary care nursing qualification
