NHS Jobs is seeking a Practice Nurse for fixed-term maternity cover in the East Midlands. The post involves selecting and delivering long-term condition reviews, immunisations, anticoagulation monitoring and routine nursing tasks within our primary care team.

You will support disease prevention, vaccination programmes and health promotion, maintain clinical records, and work with GPs, HCAs and reception staff to ensure safe patient care.

Qualifikationen

• Registered Nurse with current NMC pin.
• Experience with immunisations and vaccines.
• Experience in long-term condition management.
• Ability to work within PGDs/PSDs and other clinical protocols.

Aufgaben

• Carry out wound assessment, dressings and care.
• Administer immunisations and vaccines.
• Monitor blood pressure, perform ECGs where required.
• Support anticoagulation management and INR monitoring.
• Provide health promotion advice and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and follow guidelines.
• Participate in audits and team meetings.
