Zusammenfassung

Amicus Health is seeking a practice nurse to join its team at Bampton and Clare House surgeries. You will deliver routine nursing care, run chronic disease clinics, administer immunisations and handle wound care, bloods, ECGs and minor procedures under scope of practice.

The role requires NMC registration with indemnity cover, a patient-centred approach and ability to work autonomously within a supportive team; evening and weekend work offers enhanced rates.

Qualifikationen

• NMC registration with current pin and indemnity cover.
• Experience in a primary care environment.
• Ability to work autonomously within a team.

Aufgaben

• Provide routine nursing care within scope of practice.
• Lead chronic disease registers and refer to GPs as needed.
• Administer childhood, adult, travel and seasonal immunisations.
• Carry out cervical cytology and contraception support.
• Provide wound care, dressings and minor procedures.
• Take bloods, perform ECGs and urinalysis.
• Support anticoagulation monitoring and patient education.
• Induct and train nursing staff and participate in audits.
