Job summary

Milton Surgery is recruiting a Practice Nurse to deliver high-quality nursing services within the multidisciplinary team. You will work under the Code of Conduct of the NMC and provide care within an agreed scope.

The role covers chronic disease management, immunisations, wound care, and minor procedures. Applicants must have UK registration and be able to work in a team, with a focus on patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Perform wound dressings, injections and immunisations.
• Understand National Health guidelines and Audit processes.
• Ability to assess risk and ensure safety in clinical care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing services including injections, dressings, immunisations and chronic disease management.
• Assist with minor procedures and venepuncture when required.
• Provide telephone advice and refer to team as appropriate.
• Support vaccination drives and health promotion activities.
• Maintain infection control and ensure equipment is safe and stocked.
