One Medical Group in Milton Keynes is seeking an experienced Practice Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care across Whitehouse Surgery, Brooklands Health Centre and Neath Hill Health Centre, with a main base at Whitehouse.

You will manage long-term conditions, provide health promotion and vaccinations, support cervical cytology, wound care and overall patient health across our Milton Keynes practices with a multidisciplinary team.

Competenze

• Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
• A degree in Nursing.
• Substantial experience as a Practice Nurse.
• Experience delivering vaccination and immunisation programmes.
• Knowledge of NICE guidance, National Service Frameworks and evidence-based practice.
• Understanding of QOF and enhanced services.
• Knowledge of safeguarding requirements for children and vulnerable adults.
• Ability to maintain accurate, contemporaneous clinical records.
• Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to clinical governance, quality improvement and ongoing professional development.

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to patients across Milton Keynes practices.
• Provide a broad range of services including long-term condition management, health promotion and immunisations.
• Carry out cervical cytology consultations and provide contraception and sexual health advice within competencies.
• Assess and manage uncomplicated wounds using evidence-based practice.
• Prioritise patient needs and respond appropriately within scope of practice.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to provide safe, coordinated and patient-centred care.
• Contribute to safeguarding, quality and governance activities.
