Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development.
• Qualification and competence in cervical cytology.
• Immunisation and vaccination training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high standard of patient-centred nursing care.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate programmes of care.
• Undertake clinical assessment of patients presenting with identified healthcare needs.
• Provide advice and support to patients and carers.
• Refer patients appropriately to other healthcare professionals and services.
• Maintain accurate, contemporaneous and legally compliant records.
• Ensure informed consent is obtained where appropriate.
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
