A healthcare provider based in York is seeking a committed Practice Nurse to join their multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing chronic diseases, delivering quality clinical care, and supporting the healthcare needs of local patients. Essential qualifications include active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and a commitment to patient care. Experience in a practice nursing role is desirable but not required. Suitable candidates will enjoy a collaborative working environment with ample development opportunities.
Thank you for your interest in our vacancy for a Practice Nurse. We are looking for a committed, enthusiastic person to join our innovative multi‑disciplinary team based in York's newest purpose‑built primary care facility. As the successful candidate you will be a key part of our two Partner practice and will work alongside a growing team, delivering healthcare to people who live and work in York, staff and students at the University of York. Unity Health currently operates two surgeries to the South and East of York, close to excellent local amenities. We are a consistently high QOF achiever, a supportive member of the Humber & North Yorkshire ICB and an active member of the Student Health Association (SHA).
Unity Health is a York‑based GMS practice serving more than 19,000 patients. It has a long history of family medicine dating back over 60 years and over 30 years of experience in student health, providing care to the University of York. Clinicians benefit from a wide range of conditions presented by a variety of patients, making it a good learning ground for professionals wishing to progress.

Information regarding patients and confidentiality is treated as strictly confidential. All privileged information may only be divulged to authorised persons in accordance with Practice policies and procedures.
Health & Safety: Assist in promoting and maintaining health, safety and security. Use personal security systems, identify risks, maintain work areas tidy and safe, report potential risks.
