A leading healthcare provider is seeking an experienced Practice Nurse to join their dedicated team. The role involves providing high-quality patient care, managing chronic diseases, and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. We are seeking to recruitanexperienced, highly motivated Practice Nurseto join ourfriendly, innovative team who are committed to delivering high standard ofpatient care.You will need to have previous experience working inprimary care and have a fully rounded set of skills. You will work bothindependently and as a member of our multidisciplinary team and will be fullysupported by clinical and non-clinical staff.
You will be supported by a collaborative, multidisciplinary team. You will work alongsideGPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, and ourdedicated practice nurse team, with additional support from skilled managerial, reception, and administrative staff.
As a Practice Nurse, you will provide high-quality care to patients, utilising your experience in General Practice Nursing, minor illness, and chronic disease management.

Woodlands Family Medical Centre is a busy training practice with a patient list in excess of 12,300 patients. We are looking for an experienced Practice Nurse to join our nursing team, the successful applicant will join 3 Practice Nurses, 2 ANP's and a HCA. We work closely to support our patients, with our Practice Manager, 5 GP partners, 2 salaried GP's and an excellent reception and administrative team.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provision of health advice topatients.
Undertake immunisations,injections and vaccinations.
Provision of health checks forboth newly registered patients and the NHS health checks.
Carry out screenings, e.g.lipids, blood pressure, cervical smears, etc.
Provision of support andassistance with clinics, e.g. diabetic, hypertension, asthma, menopause,warfarin, minor surgery, contraception etc.
Undertake ECG and other routinemonitoring procedures.
Provision of travel advice.
Provision of general nursingduties, e.g. dressings, ear syringing, etc.
The maintenance of healthpromotion literature and information for patients.
Assist doctors with minorsurgery procedures, when required
The inputting of informationonto the Practice clinical system.
Use of Practice clinical systemfor patient searches for clinics and patient recall.
Manage long-term conditionsincluding Diabetes
Ensure that infection controlprocedures are followed.
The ongoing cleaning andsterilisation of clinical equipment and working surfaces.
The maintenance of treatmentroom equipment, including testing and recording.
