Job summary

Adam Avenue Practice in Airdrie is seeking a Practice Nurse to join our expanding clinical team. You will work within our health centre with a focus on chronic disease management and patient risk assessment.

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication and team collaboration. Knowledge of Vision and Docman is desirable but not essential; salary is dependent on experience and a permanent contract is offered.

Qualifications

Job description

The Adam Avenue Practice is based within Airdrie Community Health Centre and has approx. 10,200 patients.

We have 5 GP Partners, 2 ANP’s, 1 PN, health board pharmacist, a CMHT Nurse, a LINK worker, an Occupational therapist and access to health board treatment room facilities.

We are looking for an additional Practice Nurse to join our friendly expanding clinical team. Must have experience in chronic disease management

The right candidate must have the ability to manage risk and potential conflict with excellent interpersonal/verbal communication.

Knowledge of Vision and Docman is desirable but not essential.

This new position is full time although we are open to flexibility for the right candidate/candidates

We hold a general medical service (GMS) contract with the Lanarkshire Health Board (LHB)
