Job summary

Springburn Health Centre in Glasgow is seeking an experienced Practice Nurse to join our friendly team on a permanent basis, 16–24 hours per week (negotiable).

The post supports a patient list of about 3000 and works alongside 1 GP Partner, an Advanced Nurse Practitioner and our healthcare team.

Experience in chronic disease management, cervical screening, sexual health and contraception is preferred; EMIS and Docman proficiency is desirable; SPPA Pension Scheme available.

Qualifications

• Qualified Practice Nurse with current registration.
• Experience in chronic disease management and cervical screening.
• Knowledge of EMIS and Docman workflows is desirable.
• Able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care within the GP practice.
• Deliver chronic disease management and preventive care.
• Perform cervical screening and women's health services.
• Support contraception and sexual health services.
• Collaborate with GP partner, Advanced Nurse Practitioner, and healthcare team.

Practice Nurse Vacancy 16 - 24 hours /Negotiable

We are looking for an experienced Practice Nurse to join our friendly team here within the health centre.

Our current practice list size is 3000

Our team consists of

1 GP Partner

An Advanced Nurse Practitioner

and Health Care Assistant.

Practice Manager and admin team .

Ideally the candidate will be experienced in all aspects of chronic disease management, cervical screening, sexual health, contraception, and all other aspects of practice nursing.

We are an EMIS and Docman Practice.

Salary will be commensurate with experience and the post holder will be entitled to join the SPPA Pension Scheme.
