Job summary

Operose Health Ltd is seeking a Practice Manager for Burnley Medical Centre on a 37.5-hour week. This fixed-term maternity cover role is paying £40,000 per year and requires leadership over the clinical and administrative teams to maintain high-quality patient care and efficient operations.

You will work with site clinical and operational leads to ensure targets are met, budgets adhered to and ongoing practice development, while maintaining excellent patient experience.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a medical practice or healthcare facility.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Budgeting and target-delivery capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Work with site clinical and operational leads to manage and lead the practice both operationally and strategically, ensuring targets are met, budget is delivered, and development of the practice.
• Line management of administrative staff and the clinical rota; responsible for day-to-day smooth running of the practice with regional support.
• Develop effective working relationships with key stakeholders to ensure a high quality, value-for-money service to patients.
