Job summary

Woodside Health Centre in Glasgow invites applications for a Practice Manager to lead two GP practices at Woodside Health and Care Centre. Candidates with NHS managerial experience are preferred but not essential; integrity, discretion and strong communication are required. Informal visits welcome, hours 30-37 per week.

We are looking for a highly accomplished, motivated, productive and proactive individual to become our new practice manager. You will be responsible for two practices based within Woodside Health and Care Centre in North West Glasgow, you will be supported by a dedicated administration team. Both practices have a combined list size of over 15,000 patients.

Candidates must have proven leadership skills and be confident in all aspects of business management, finance, IT, planning and HR. We are looking for candidates of high integrity and discretion, who are conscientious, and possess excellent communication skills.

A background within the NHS in a managerial role could be advantageous but is not considered essential.

Informal visits are welcome.

Hours: 30 to 37 hours per week over five days

Salary: £46,000–£54,000 pro rata, dependent on experience.
