Job summary

Crowell & Moring LLP seeks a Practice Innovation and Knowledge Associate (non-practising) to strategically advise on practice innovation and manage knowledge initiatives. The role liaises with the Practice Innovation team and assigned departments, curating content, shaping workflows, and driving change across the firm.

The successful candidate will identify opportunities, implement AI-enabled knowledge delivery, and support lawyers and staff in adopting innovative solutions while monitoring

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and practicing certificate in the applicable jurisdiction.
• Minimum of three years PQE in the practice of law.
• Experience with knowledge management or legal innovation preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with lawyers and operations to scope innovation projects.
• Develop knowledge delivery systems, including AI-enabled tools.
• Curate precedents and organize knowledge resources for practice groups.
• Coach practitioners on new technologies and workflows.
• Monitor legal developments in AI and industry trends.
