Royal Surrey County NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Practice Development Sister/Charge Nurse (Band 6) for a substantive 37.5 hour per week post. You will lead education and mentorship across nursing teams to deliver evidence-based, compassionate care.

The role focuses on staff development, simulation-based learning, and clinical governance, with support from an experienced Practice Development Team to enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Mentorship/Practice Assessor qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in nursing studies with clinical expertise.

• Act as a role model and professional resource.
• Support professional development of nursing staff.
• Assist in delivering education programmes and clinical education.
• Operate under supervision of Senior Practice Development Sister/Charge Nurse.
