Job summary

Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust is seeking a Practice Development Nurse to support the District Nursing Service with a progressive learning environment. The post and development programme aim to enhance the staff's knowledge, skills and competencies for safe patient care.

You will work with divisions, the Clinical Academy and Corporate Practice Development Leads to identify learning needs, deliver education, and supportAssessment and marking within the programme.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration and UK operating standards.
• Bachelor-level Nursing degree or equivalent required.
• Mentorship/supervisor qualifications or equivalent experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate educational activities and assessments for staff within the District Nursing Service.
• Deliver education and shadowing sessions to develop clinical skills and knowledge.
• Support practice development aligned to organisational priorities across divisions.
• Promote inter-professional learning and act as a role model for best practice.
• Contribute to course delivery, assessment and academic processes within the Trust.
