Job summary

Fresh Perspective Resourcing in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced accountant to manage a portfolio of client relationships with autonomy. You will handle client records, VAT, and year‑end processes while expanding tax planning and advisory work.

The role focuses on delivering accurate accounts prep, statutory returns, and strong client service, with opportunities for payroll knowledge and progression within a busy practice.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant ACCA, ACA, CA or CIMA.
• About 3 years post-qualification experience in a practice environment.
• Confident across full accounts preparation and year-end processes.
• Strong, accurate and detail‑focused.
• Comfortable in a client‑facing role with excellent customer service.
• Driven and great at managing your own workload and deadlines.
• Hands‑on experience with Xero, Sage and TaxCalc (or similar).
• Payroll knowledge preferable including PAYE process.

Responsibilities

• Preparing annual accounts from trial balance.
• Preparing and submitting Corporation & self‑assessment tax returns.
