Job summary

Adecco Colombia S.A. is seeking a Qualified Accountant to join a growing accountancy practice in Carnforth.

You will manage a varied portfolio of owner-managed and family businesses, delivering high-quality accountancy services and practical commercial advice to support client growth. Key duties include preparing and reviewing financial accounts, producing management reports, and offering strategic financial guidance to clients.

Qualifications

Experience in a client-facing accountancy practice role.
Proven portfolio management experience.
Strong commercial awareness and business advisory skills.
Experience with accounts preparation software.
Knowledge of Sage, Xero and QuickBooks.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

Manage and develop strong client relationships.
Prepare, review and deliver financial accounts.
Produce management accounts and business reports.
Provide commercial and financial advice to clients.
Identify opportunities for tax planning, restructuring and business improvement.
Support business development through networking and referrals.
Work with senior leadership to enhance processes and systems.
