Job summary

Page Personnel is recruiting an Accountant to manage a client portfolio delivering accounting, tax and advisory services. You will work with clients and colleagues to provide an excellent service and contribute to business growth.

Key responsibilities include preparing financial statements, tax returns, payroll, budgets and forecasts. The successful applicant should have a professional qualification or be working towards one, at least two years in practice, and strong Excel and accounting

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification or working towards one.
• At least two years in an accountancy practice.
• Experience in preparing financial statements.
• Strong tax regulations knowledge and compliance.
• Proficient in accounting software and Excel.
• Excellent analytical and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage financial statements in accordance with regulations.
• Handle tax returns and provide tax planning.
• Oversee payroll processes and ensure timely payments.
• Monitor budgets and forecasts to support business decisions.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Provide financial insights and reports to senior management.
