Job summary

Scotland's Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA) is seeking a confident media and communications professional to lead PR and media activity across the charity. Based in Perth with hybrid working, you will secure media coverage, manage press enquiries, and develop stories that showcase the charity's impact.

Occasional travel across Scotland and occasional out-of-hours work are required. You will work closely with the Marketing and Communications team, liaising with journalists, stakeholders and senior

Qualifications

• Experience in journalism, public relations, communications or press office environments.
• Proven ability to secure positive media coverage and build journalist relationships.
• Excellent writing and storytelling for print, digital, and broadcast.
• Strong stakeholder management with senior leaders and external partners.
• Sound editorial judgement and ability to handle sensitive stories with discretion.
• Highly organised and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Collaborative approach across teams and departments.
• Willingness to travel across Scotland as required.
