Job summary

TWI Ltd invites applications for a PR Executive to join our Global Marketing Department in Cambridge. The role focuses on corporate public relations, executive engagements and strategic meetings with industry and government stakeholders.

You will help craft UK and global outreach, coordinating media relations and executive communications. Working closely with the Chief Executive and teams across TWI, you will design high-profile visit programmes, manage campaigns and expand our communications

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn.
• Experience managing communications campaigns for high profile individuals, executive board members or C Suite leaders.
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
• Experience developing and delivering coordinated communications plans.
• The ability to work successfully as part of a wider content marketing team.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience within engineering, technology or research advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Designing, planning and delivering a programme of high profile visits involving TWI industrial members, training partners, professional members and customers
• Identifying engagement opportunities in collaboration with colleagues across Industrial Membership, Business Development, Professional Affairs, Training and Corporate Marketing
• Planning and delivering social media activity following press and stakeholder engagements, primarily through LinkedIn
• Supporting the administration of the Chief Executive’s LinkedIn and Bluesky accounts in line with agreed communications plans and governance
• Building and maintaining relationships with media contacts across technical, national and digital publications
• Arranging appropriate media coverage for visits and working with internal and external stakeholders to maximise impact
