Job summary

TWI Ltd in Cambridge is seeking a proactive PR Executive to join our Global Marketing Department and support a programme of corporate public relations, Chief Executive engagements and strategic meetings with industry and government stakeholders.

You will work closely with the Chief Executive and colleagues to create high-profile visits, secure meetings and coordinate communications to strengthen TWI’s profile and influence.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn.
• Experience managing communications campaigns for high profile individuals, executive board members or C Suite leaders.
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
• Experience developing and delivering coordinated communications plans.
• The ability to work successfully as part of a wider content marketing team.
• Experience within engineering, technology or research advantageous.
• An established media network within relevant technical or national sectors beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Designing, planning and delivering a programme of high profile visits involving TWI industrial members, training partners, professional members and customers.
• Identifying engagement opportunities in collaboration with colleagues across Industrial Membership, Business Development, Professional Affairs, Training and Corporate Marketing.
• Planning and delivering social media activity following press and stakeholder engagements, primarily through LinkedIn
• Supporting the administration of the Chief Executive’s LinkedIn and Bluesky accounts in line with agreed communications plans and governance
• Building and maintaining relationships with media contacts across technical, national and digital publications
• Arranging appropriate media coverage for visits and working with internal and external stakeholders to maximise impact
