Job summary

AMFRESH Group is hiring a Production PPT Operative for our Peterborough site. This permanent, weekly-paid role offers reliable hours and long-term growth.

Responsibilities include operating PPT equipment safely, feeding lines, ensuring pallets are scanned and stored correctly, and moving pallets securely around the production area. Fresh produce experience is preferred, with training provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous Warehouse or Production experience is essential.
• Experience within Fresh Produce / Food Production / FMCG environment.
• Be able to use handheld scanners.

• Feed production lines with products needed to keep lines running.
• Ensure pallets moved in/out are scanned and located correctly.
• Move pallets throughout production, ensuring safe stacking and securing.

About The Role

We are recruiting for a Production PPT Operative at our Peterborough site. This is a permanent, weekly-paid position providing consistent work, reliable hours, and long-term growth opportunities within a thriving business.

• Shift Pattern:4on, 4off - (05:45 - 18:15)
• Hourly Rate:£13.15 (paid weekly)

As an AMFRESH PPT Operative, you will:

• Operate a PPT safely and report issues with your MHE equipment.
• Play an integral part in feeding our production lines with products needed.
• Ensure that all pallets taken in and out of the stores are scanned into the correct location and accounted for.
• Be responsible for moving pallets throughout production which must be stacked and strapped in a safe and risk-free manner.

About You

To be a successful PPT Operative, the qualities we are looking for are:

• Previous Warehouse or Production experience is essential
• Previous experience within Fresh Produce / Food Production / FMCG environment.
• Be able to use handheld scanners
