Job summary

AMFresh Group is hiring a Warehouse Operative at our Peterborough site on a permanent, weekly-paid contract with reliable hours and long-term growth. Shift pattern: 4 on, 4 off, 05:45 to 18:15, hourly rate £13.40 (paid weekly).

You will pick, scan, and label customer orders, ensure correct pallet labeling and placement, move pallets safely, and perform manual handling of up to 15 kg. Training for MHE is provided, and you will work independently to meet hourly targets.

About The Role

We are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative at our Peterborough site. This is a permanent, weekly-paid position providing consistent work, reliable hours, and long-term growth opportunities within a thriving business.

Shift Pattern: 4on, 4off - 05:45 to 18:15

Hourly Rate: £13.40 (Paid Weekly)

As an AMFresh Warehouse Operative, you will:

• Pick, scan, and label all customer orders against the order sheet provided to you.
• Ensure stock products have a label with the correct amount on the pallet and ensure pallets are placed in the correct location.
• Ensure all pallets are moved in and out of the warehouse or elsewhere on site, stacked and strapped safely.
• Lift weights of up to 15kg several times during your shift and follow the correct manual handling procedures.

About You

• To be a successful Warehouse Operative, the qualities we are looking for are:

• Ability to work independently and meet hourly targets.
• Previous experience of any MHE, whether inhouse or licence (full training will be provided).
• Good all-round communication skills.
• A keen eye for detail.
