Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a PPS Engineer to deliver project engineering services within Process and Pipeline Services. You will work with Operations Managers, Project Managers, Sales teams, and Field Engineers to support project execution, resource planning, and operational excellence.

You will develop engineering documentation and deliverables, provide technical guidance, and help identify opportunities for additional customer value and revenue growth while ensuring compliance with global

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is preferred.
• Ability to execute engineering scopes for Process and Pipeline Services (PPS) operations.
• Strong understanding of process and pipeline operations, customer requirements, and engineering procedures.
• Experience working with customers, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams in industrial, oil and gas environments.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Bluebeam, Centrum; Oracle experience is advantageous.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities; able to work independently and with teams.
• UKNS Offshore Survival and Offshore Medical certifications; other required industry training if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engineering activities and PPS-related procedures per Baker Hughes standards and project objectives.
• Support project managers and act as technical focal point for small/medium projects.
• Develop high-quality engineering docs, procedures, and deliverables for process/pipeline projects.
• Collaborate with Sales/Commercial to develop profitable service offerings and growth opportunities.
• Provide technical guidance to Field Engineers and mentor/coach training initiatives.
• Coordinate with Applications Engineering, Operations, and Project Management to ensure timely execution and workload balance.
• Drive continuous improvement and contribute input to commercial and capital investments.
• Ensure compliance with policies, HSE, quality standards, and competency programs; participate in on-call coverage.
