Job summary

Network Catering is seeking a PPM Engineer/trainee with an Electrical Engineering background to carry out planned preventive maintenance on commercial catering equipment at client sites across the country. The role involves physical work, heights, and outdoor conditions, with a strong emphasis on health and safety compliance.

The successful candidate will have an engineering background with Electrical Installations Level 1 and 2 and will operate across UK sites, including the West Midlands

Qualifications

• Ideally have a background in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• Electrical Installations Level 1 and 2 are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend client sites in the West Midlands and across the country wearing company branding.
• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance of commercial catering equipment to specifications.
• Ensure equipment is left clean, tidy and secure after service.
• Report defects to site manager via PDA system and escalate health and safety issues to the Health and Safety Manager.
• Respond to client contacts daily and liaise with Business Manager.

Job Overview

We are looking for a PPM Engineer/trainee with an Electrical Engineering background to attend client sites across the country to carry out planned preventative maintenance of commercial catering equipment. Ensuring equipment is performing correctly and is compliant with UK health, safety and environmental legislation. The work involved is of a physical nature, can involve working at heights using ladders or other access equipment, and involves working outdoors throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities

• To attend client sites, wearing company branded clothing and represent the company in a professional and courteous manner
• To carry out the service of Commercial catering Equipment in accordance with agreed specifications
• To ensure equipment is left in a clean, tidy and secure state
• Reporting any defects to site manager and report via PDA system
• To report any issues of Health and Safety to the site manager and to Network’s Health and Safety Manager
• Accountability to Business Manager
• Accountable day-to-day to the relevant client contacts.
