Job summary

Network, part of the Airedale Group, is hiring a Commercial Catering Engineer to service and repair commercial kitchen equipment across customer sites. You will diagnose faults, perform high-quality maintenance and ensure safe, compliant operations.

On-call duties are required on a rotating basis, with ongoing training and development opportunities within a growing national group. Join a team supported by an in-house training centre, a company van and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintaining and repairing commercial catering equipment.
• UK driving licence required and the ability to travel as needed.
• CCCN1 and COMCAT 1-5 qualifications are essential.
• Electrical competency and safe working practices are required.
• Strong communication and customer service orientation.
• On-call availability (1 week in 4).
• Professional and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain a wide range of commercial catering equipment.
• Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs to minimise downtime.
• Ensure work is completed safely and to a high professional standard.
• Maintain excellent customer service and communication at client sites.
• Participate in the on-call rota (1 week in 4).
• Complete service and maintenance documentation accurately.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Catering Engineer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service in the maintenance, repair and servicing of commercial kitchen equipment, ensuring our clients operations run smoothly, safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Service and maintain a wide range of commercial catering equipment.
• Carry out high-quality repairs and servicing of equipment, including:
  • Microwaves
  • Combi ovens
  • Dishwashers
  • Fryers
  • Chargrills
  • Other specialist commercial catering equipment
• Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs to minimise equipment downtime.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high professional standard.
• Maintain excellent customer service and communication when attending client sites.
• Participate in the on-call rota, 1 week in 4.
• Demonstrate a proactive, can-do attitude with excellent attention to detail.
• Complete all relevant service and maintenance documentation accurately.

Key Requirements

Essential

• Previous experience working within the commercial catering sector.
• Full UK driving licence.
• CCCN1 qualification.
• COMCAT 1, 2, 3 and 5 qualifications.
• Electrically competent.
• Highly organised with excellent communication skills.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• A professional and customer-focused approach.

Desirable

• LPG qualification/experience.
• Experience working across a broad range of commercial catering equipment.
• Manufacturer-specific training and qualifications.
