Job summary

Pure Talent Group is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to provide high-quality technical support across Production Print products in the Central Belt of Scotland. The role combines hands-on service, installations, and proactive customer engagement, with an OTE up to £50,000.

Shifts rotate weekly (early, evening, day, night) and include a 1 in 4 weekend rota. A company car, holiday entitlements, and wellbeing support are included as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of Production Print and/or Industrial Print devices.
• Excellent fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills.
• Confident using diagnostic tools and reading complex technical instructions.
• IT literacy and basic networking capabilities.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Delivering technical service, maintenance, and repair across Production Print equipment.
• Carrying out installations and de-installations, ensuring milestones are met efficiently.
• Keeping customers updated on progress and ensuring a positive service experience.
• Escalating technical issues promptly.
• Identifying opportunities for additional services or revenue on site.
• Building strong customer relationships.
• Managing and maintaining vehicle stock.

Job description

We’re looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to provide high‑quality technical support across a range of Production Print products. This role focuses on delivering exceptional service, minimizing downtime, and ensuring customers receive a smooth, professional experience.

Role: PPD Print Production / Industrial Print

Location: Central Belt – Scotland – 4 week shift cycle – OTE up to £50,000

The Role

• Delivering technical service, maintenance, and repair across Production Print equipment
• Carrying out installations and de‑installations, ensuring all project milestones are met efficiently
• Keeping customers updated on progress and ensuring a positive service experience
• Escalating technical issues promptly
• Identifying opportunities for additional services or revenue while on customer sites
• Building strong customer relationships
• Managing and maintaining vehicle stock

The Candidate

• Strong technical knowledge of Production Print and/or Industrial Print devices

Shift Patterns

Week 1 – Early Shift: 6:00am – 2:00pm

Week 2 – Evening Shift: 4:30pm – 12:00am or 2:00pm – 10:00pm

Week 3 – Day Shift: 8:30am – 5:30pm

Week 4 – Night Shift: 12:00am – 8:30am (1 in 4 weekend rota)

No shifts or weekends apply until full training is completed and the engineer is fully up to speed.
