Connex Education Partnership is seeking a proactive Primary PPA Teacher for a maternity-cover role in Childwall, Liverpool. The position covers EYFS to KS2 on a full-time basis, starting January 2027 with a handover before Christmas. It suits Early Career Teachers and experienced educators aiming for a PPA placement.

Salary is £130-£180 per day, paid weekly via PAYE, with access to CPD and a supportive consultant. The assignment runs until July 2027 and may be extended for 2027/28.

About the Role

Connex Education are seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable primary teacher for an upcoming post in January 2027. This will be based in a fantastic primary school in Childwall, covering a period of maternity leave.

This role will be covering whole-school PPA, so it is essential that you are comfortable teaching EYFS, KS1, and KS2. Experience in a similar PPA role would be beneficial. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday. Start date will be January 2027, however they would ideally like to have transition/hand-over weeks before Christmas. This will run until July 2027, and then be reviewed for the 2027/28 academic year.

This is an ideal opportunity for Early Career Teachers looking for experience in an excellent and supportive school. We also welcome applications from experienced educators who are looking for a PPA role.
