Job summary

Connex Education Partnership is seeking a proactive Primary PPA Teacher for a maternity-cover role in Childwall, Liverpool. The position covers EYFS to KS2 on a full-time basis, starting January 2027 with a handover before Christmas. It suits Early Career Teachers and experienced educators aiming for a PPA placement.

Salary is £130-£180 per day, paid weekly via PAYE, with access to CPD and a supportive consultant. The assignment runs until July 2027 and may be extended for 2027/28.

Qualifications

• QTS or pending QTS.
• Experience teaching in primary schools.
• Good working knowledge of the primary curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• Strong communication skills and a flexible attitude.
• Current DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one through Connex.

Responsibilities

• Cover whole-school PPA, across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Full-time, Monday to Friday, start January 2027.
• Support maternity cover for a primary school in Childwall, Liverpool.
• Ideal for Early Career Teachers or experienced educators seeking PPA roles.
