Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd in Huntingdon is seeking qualified Primary Teachers with QTS for flexible, temporary roles across local schools.

Roles include daily supply and part-time PPA cover; you will work with supportive teams, typically 8:15am–3:30pm, with pay via PAYE and opportunities for guaranteed work depending on availability.

Qualifications

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• Have a confident approach to behaviour management.
• Be able to provide two positive references to support your recent work as a teacher.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons across primary year groups in a variety of schools.
• Adapt to different school environments and staff teams in Huntingdon area.
• Cover daily supply and PPA/regular part-time roles as required.
• Maintain positive behaviour and classroom management.

Are you a qualified Primary Teacher with QTS looking for flexible work?

Vision for Education are looking for quaified teachers to fill temporary/ flexible roles in and around Huntingdon.

We are looking for candidates who genuinally enjoy teaching but without the commitment of planning, staff meetings, subject leadership and so on, therefore offering a better work/ life balance.

We work with a number of schools in and around Huntingdon and we will always look to find you work that is as close to home as possible. Opportunities available include daily supply in a variety of schools as well as part-time regular roles such as PPA cover, where you have the opportunity to get to know pupils and staff teams.

Hours of work are usually between 8:15am and 15:30pm. The primary schoolswe work with are inclusive, friendly and supportive places of work with Teaching Assistants often in place to support children within the class who have additional needs.

If you have a preference on which days you want to work each week, or which year groups you want to cover, please just let us know and we can make sure to find you work that meets your requirements.

Guaranteed work contracts can be discussed for those that are looking for income stabilty (subject to availability).

PPA/ Supply Teacher Requirements

To be considered for the role of Primary Supply Teacher you will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK

• Be able to provide two positive references to support your recent work as a teacher

Salary is dependent on experience, training and/or qualifications.
