Academics are recruiting a PPA Cover Teacher to work across primary schools in Doncaster. This role suits a qualified teacher who enjoys variety and can teach across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

The role involves delivering planned lessons, providing PPA cover, and following school planning, while maintaining a positive, inclusive classroom. Competitive daily rates (£130-£190) are paid via PAYE, with ASAP/September start dates.

Qualifications

• QTS and experience in primary teaching are required.

• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills are important.

PPA Cover Teacher - Doncaster

Are you a primary teacher looking for flexible teaching work across different year groups?

Academics are currently recruiting for a PPA Cover Teacher to work across primary schools throughout Doncaster. This role is ideal for a qualified teacher who enjoys variety and is confident teaching across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

Position: PPA Cover Teacher
Location: Doncaster
Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply
Pay: £130 - £190 per day (dependent on experience, training, qualifications and client rate available, paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees, inclusive of holiday pay)
Start Date: ASAP / September

About the Role

As a PPA Cover Teacher, you will provide planned cover for teachers across a range of primary schools in Doncaster. You may teach different year groups throughout the week, making this a great opportunity for a PPA Cover Teacher who enjoys working with pupils from Early Years through to Year 6.

The PPA Cover Teacher will deliver lessons using existing school planning and ensure pupils remain engaged and supported throughout the school day. Experience across different primary year groups would be highly beneficial.

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within a primary school
• Confidence teaching across different primary year groups
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Flexible and adaptable approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
• Good knowledge of the primary curriculum
