Tradewind Recruitment LTD. are working with a welcoming primary school in Wellingborough that is seeking a confident and adaptable PPA Cover Teacher to join their team for an immediate start.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who enjoys working across different year groups and can confidently step into the classroom to deliver engaging lessons while class teachers have their planning, preparation and assessment (PPA) time.

Qualifications

• QTS is desirable but not essential.
• Experience working with children in a school or similar setting.
• Confident in leading lessons and managing a class independently.
• Able to adapt quickly to different classrooms and year groups.
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
• Reliable, organized and flexible with dedication to pupils’ learning.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Provide consistent classroom cover during PPA time.
• Maintain a positive, safe and engaging learning environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Adapt approach to suit different year groups and pupils’ needs.
• Ensure pupils remain engaged and make progress.
• Work collaboratively with class teachers and staff.
• Provide feedback on pupil engagement, behaviour and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
