Job summary

Advanced Innovative Engineering in the United Kingdom seeks a Powertrain Development Engineer to join the team in Lichfield. You will research, develop, test and evaluate ideas for new products and production systems, while improving performance and efficiency of existing products.

The role covers engine building, dyno testing, instrumentation, data acquisition, and reporting. Collaboration with design, manufacturing and management is essential, with occasional client and supplier visits.

Qualifications

• Experienced in powertrain R&D, preferably motorsport/aerospace.
• Dyno/test cell experience and data collection.
• ECU mapping/calibration experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test and evaluate powertrain concepts and production ideas.
• Instrument engines and manage test cell setup and data acquisition.
• Prepare accurate test reports and present findings to management.
