Job summary

FEV UK Ltd. is seeking a Calibration Engineer to lead hybrid powertrain calibration on customer projects. The role is hands‑on with on‑site work, data analysis, and OBD strategy validation to ensure regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams and support international test trips. The ideal candidate has an engineering degree and 2+ years in a similar role, with strong tool experience (INCA, CANalyzer, CANoe, Creta, Uniplot, MATLAB) and fluent English.

Qualifications

Engineering degree and 2+ years in a similar role.
Strong understanding of Powertrain Control Module software, especially in hybrid applications.
Experience with INCA, CANalyzer, CANoe, Creta, Uniplot.
Familiarity with IEC 61508, ISO 26262, EN 50126.
Experience in vehicle-level testing and hybrid system validation.
Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

Lead calibration and development activities for customer powertrains, focusing on hybrid systems.
Analyse and interpret powertrain data to identify and resolve issues.
Act as liaison between cross-functional teams for alignment.
Understand and validate OBD strategies for compliance.
Execute and analyse OBD tests and produce regulatory documentation.
Develop action plans to meet project milestones.
