Job summary

Speedy Hire in Erith is seeking a Powered Access Engineer to service, refurbish and repair powered access equipment. You’ll ensure kit is safe, reliable and compliant with health and safety standards before it goes back on hire. Based at our Erith depot, you’ll work with a team of engineers to refurbish, test and maintain gear.

This role is Mon-Fri, 07:30–17:00 (45 hours/week). We offer training, progression and a range of benefits, and CAP registration is preferred though not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience working on powered access equipment preferred.
• Ability to read electrical/hydraulic drawings and diagnose faults.
• Attention to detail when estimating repairs and refurbishment.

Responsibilities

• Service, refurbishment, repair and maintenance of powered access equipment.
• Ensure equipment is safe and compliant before hire.
• Work with a depot team to refurbish, check and comply with health and safety regulations.
