Job summary
Bennett & Game Recruitment LTD in Sleaford is seeking an experienced Powered Access Fitter to join their team. This hands-on role covers workshop repairs, servicing and PDI checks, along with field-based maintenance at customer sites, to keep powered access equipment safe and ready for hire. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with powered access equipment and be able to diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults. IPAF/PAL not essential.
Qualifications
Previous experience working on powered access equipment.
Strong mechanical fault-finding and repair skills.
Confident diagnosing and repairing machinery.
Experience with plant, agricultural or similar equipment.
Reliable, hardworking and conscientious.
Comfortable working both in a workshop and at customer sites.
IPAF/PAL or CAP qualifications are not essential.
Responsibilities
Service, maintain and repair powered access equipment.
Diagnose and rectify mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
Carry out PDI inspections and machine checks.
Attend customer sites to carry out repairs and maintenance.
Ensure equipment is safe, reliable and ready for hire.
Work independently and manage repairs through to completion.
Support the wider plant and workshop operation when required.
