Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment Limited are seeking a Workshop Powered Access Engineer for their Bedford workshop. The ideal candidate has a strong electrical background and experience with powered access equipment. You will service, repair and inspect a fleet of electric machines in a brand-new indoor workshop.

The role is 40 hours per week with flexible hours, offering 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, a pension, free lunch, and a company bonus scheme.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role is desirable.
• CAP qualification desirable but not essential.
• Strong electrical background in powered access or plant industry.
• Work well as a team and alone.
• Good administrative and organisational skills.
• Commutable distance of Bedford.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, repairing and maintaining manual and electrically powered access equipment including Eco's, Peco's and scissor lifts.
• LOLER inspections on powered access equipment and other plant.
• Keeping service records up to date.
• Adhering to workshop health & safety rules and regulations.
• The fleet of powered access equipment is all electric.
• The role requires you to do 40 hours a week but there is flexibility on the hours you do.
• Free lunches are also provided so it is a good working environment.
• Brand-new indoor workshop in Bedford.

Workshop powered access engineer required. Bennett and Game Recruitment are currently representing a Plant and Tool company that are currently looking for a Workshop Engineer in Bedford. The ideal candidate will come from a strong electrical engineering background, will ideally have experience with powered access equipment.

Workshop Powered Access Engineer Position Overview

• Servicing, repairing and maintaining manual and electrically powered access equipment including Eco`s, Peco`s and scissor lifts
• LOLER inspections on powered access equipment and other plant
• Keeping service records up to date
