Job summary

Speedy Hire PLC in Tamworth is seeking a Mobile Powered Access Engineer to service, refurbish and repair powered access equipment at customer sites. You will attend emergency breakdowns and planned maintenance tasks to ensure safe, reliable equipment for customers.

The role requires CAP registration (ideally), hands-on experience with Niftylift, Skyjack, Genie or JLG, and the ability to read electrical and hydraulic drawings. Training and progression opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• CAP registration preferred.
• Experience on powered access equipment (Niftylift, Skyjack, Genie, JLG).
• Ability to estimate repairs with attention to detail.
• Experience in fault finding and diagnostics.
• Ability to read electrical and hydraulic drawings.

Responsibilities

• Service, refurbishment, repair and maintenance of powered access equipment at customer sites.
• Respond to emergency breakdown calls and perform scheduled maintenance.
• Ensure equipment is safe, reliable and compliant for customers.

Mobile Powered Access Engineer -Tamworth - Monday to Friday - 45 Hours

As a Mobile Powered Access Engineer covering Tamworth and surrounding areas, you will be responsible for the service, refurbishment, repair and maintenance of our powered access equipment based at our customer's sites. We offer our customers the highest level of care, therefore this role will involve attending emergency breakdown calls as well as scheduled service maintenance. You will ensure that our customers are using safe and reliable equipment so that they can count on us to deliver customer excellence.

What you'll need:

• Ideally be CAP registered
• Previous experience in working on powered access equipment such as Niftylift, Skyjack, Genie and JLG would be an advantage
• Experience in estimating repairs to be carried out with a keen eye for detail
• Experience in fault finding and diagnostics
• Able to read electrical / hydraulic drawings, understanding both systems
• Previous engineering experience within powered access
• Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy - Decade to Deliver.
