Job summary

Speedy Hire PLC in the UK is seeking a powered access engineer to join our Wellington depot. You will service, maintain and repair powered access equipment, diagnose faults and carry out planned maintenance on site with leading brands.

Ideal applicants will have hands-on mechanical, electrical and hydraulic knowledge, and a full UK driving licence. CAP registration is an advantage. We offer a competitive salary, generous holiday and training opportunities to support your career growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in Powered Access, Plant or a similar engineering environment.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Good understanding of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing powered access equipment at our depot.
• Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
• Carrying out inspections, repairs and planned maintenance.
• Working with leading brands including Genie, JLG, Skyjack and Niftylift.
