Job summary

Speedy Powered Access is seeking a Depot Based Powered Access Engineer in Tamworth to service, maintain, repair and refurbish powered access equipment. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults and read electrical/hydraulic drawings to support fault finding.

Qualifications

• Strong engineering background with practical problem solving.
• Experience servicing and repairing powered access equipment such as scissor lifts and boom lifts.
• Ability to read electrical and hydraulic drawings to support fault finding.
• Strong mechanical, electrical and hydraulic fault-finding skills.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance, repairs and refurbishment of powered access equipment.
• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
• Reading and interpreting electrical and hydraulic drawings.
• Ensuring equipment is compliant and ready for hire.
• Maintaining high fleet availability and customer service.
