Job summary

Speedy Hire Plc. is seeking a Mobile Powered Access Engineer to cover Tamworth and surrounding areas. The role involves servicing, refurbishing and maintaining powered access equipment, with on-site visits to customer sites and a mix of emergency breakdowns and planned maintenance.

You will work to ensure safe, reliable equipment and customer excellence, with opportunities for training, development and career progression. 26 days holiday, pension and other benefits are included.

Qualifications

• CAP registration is preferred.
• Experience working on powered access equipment (Niftylift, Skyjack, Genie, JLG) is beneficial.
• Experience in estimating repairs with attention to detail.
• Experience in fault finding and diagnostics.
• Ability to read electrical and hydraulic drawings and understand both systems.
• Previous engineering experience in powered access.
• Ability to support ESG Strategy initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Service, refurbishment, repair and maintenance of powered access equipment at customer sites.
• Attend emergency breakdown calls as well as scheduled service maintenance.
• Ensure customers use safe and reliable equipment to deliver customer excellence.

Mobile Powered Access Engineer -Tamworth - Monday to Friday - 45 Hours

Mobile Powered Access Engineer

covering Tamworth and surrounding areas, you will be responsible for the service, refurbishment, repair and maintenance of our powered access equipment based at our customer's sites. We offer our customers the highest level of care, therefore this role will involve attending emergency breakdown calls as well as scheduled service maintenance. You will ensure that our customers are using safe and reliable equipment so that they can count on us to deliver customer excellence.

What you'll need:

• Ideally be CAP registered
• Previous experience in working on powered access equipment such as Niftylift, Skyjack, Genie and JLG would be an advantage
• Experience in estimating repairs to be carried out with a keen eye for detail
• Experience in fault finding and diagnostics
• Able to read electrical / hydraulic drawings, understanding both systems
• Previous engineering experience within powered access
• Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.
