Role Overview

Join Dementia UK as a Power BI Developer, where you'll play a vital role in designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI. Your main focus will be transforming raw data into meaningful insights to inform decision-making across the organisation.

You will work proactively with stakeholders to understand their data needs, supporting the Head of IT Data and System Development, Enterprise and Data Architect in shaping Dementia UK’s data strategy. Your dashboards will provide real-time analytics and trend analysis, helping the organisation identify opportunities and address challenges swiftly.

By automating data integration and reporting processes, you will streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and minimise errors, boosting efficiency and productivity. Your expertise in data modelling will ensure complex data sets are presented clearly, making them accessible and actionable for colleagues across the charity.

This position supports the IT team in harnessing data more effectively to drive strategic outcomes. It aligns with the BCS SFIAplus IT Skills framework, covering Business Intelligence, Data Visualisation, and Data Modelling and Design.

The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level or with equivalent industry qualifications, proficient in Power BI, and skilled in analytical thinking. Strong problem-solving abilities are also required.

If this sounds like the right opportunity for you, join us and help make a real difference in the lives of those affected by dementia.
