Job summary

Balfour Beatty plc, a Scotland-based Power Transmission & Distribution leader, seeks a General Operative - Civils to support civils works on Power T&D projects across Scotland. You will work with an experienced civils gang, gaining hands-on experience and contributing to safe, efficient project execution.

Qualifications

• Full clean driving licence.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to undertake work in high pressure situations.

• Aptitude for working in all weather conditions.
• Respect for health and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support civil engineering works across Power T&D projects.
• Assist with OHL tower foundation works on new and existing infrastructure.
• Support underground cabling works.
• Work alongside Civils Operatives and site teams.
• Develop experience across different aspects of civils construction.
• Follow site safety requirements and maintain a safe, organised working environment.
