Job summary

Balfour Beatty's Power T&D division in Scotland is seeking an experienced General Foreman – OHL to lead multi-disciplinary teams on critical overhead line projects. You will ensure safe, cost-efficient and timely delivery across maintenance, refurbishment, new build and dismantling works in diverse locations.

You will coordinate resources, drive health and safety compliance, monitor progress and coach staff to achieve high standards while managing costs and interfaces with Site Engineers, Scheme

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering OHL projects.
• Experience implementing safe systems of work.
• Strong leadership and people-management abilities.
• Commercial awareness and problem-solving mindset.
• Valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple multi-disciplinary gangs across complex programmes and locations.
• Support the Senior General Foreman with project delivery.
• Plan and organise OHL works, resources, materials, plant and equipment.
• Drive health, safety, environmental compliance and quality standards.
• Monitor progress, productivity and programme delivery.
• Coach, support and develop team members.
• Ensure safe systems of work, risk assessments and daily briefings.
• Work with Site Engineers, Scheme Delivery Managers and Project Managers.
• Help ensure resources are used efficiently and expenditure remains controlled.
