Job summary

D2B Groups is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of generator projects in the United States. The role covers from sales handoff to site delivery, overseeing 10–20 active orders, and coordinating shop execution including testing, reconditioning, paint, and enclosure work.

The ideal candidate has extensive power generation experience, strong organizational skills, and a proactive ownership mindset. On-site work and relocation support are offered.

Qualifications

• Power generation background required, generator tech or manufacturing side.
• 8+ years in power generation with multi-job management.
• Knowledge of diesel and natural gas generator sets, load bank testing, ATS and switchgear.
• Reading electrical schematics and build specifications.
• Proactive owner with clear communication and self-starting attitude.
• Strong Excel skills for scheduling, tracking and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own the full project scope from PO to site delivery for 10–20 orders.
• Create clear handoff plans with scope, parts, shop labor, milestones and ship date.
• Drive shop execution with foreman across testing, reconditioning, paint, enclosure, fuel tank, controls, ATS and switchgear, and packaging.
• Manage parts and procurement, identify long-lead parts and place orders.
• Anticipate schedule risks and escalate to owner when decisions are needed.
• Verify readiness before shipment with test reports and documentation.
• Coordinate delivery with freight, rigging and oversized-load logistics.
• Keep the master project schedule updated and inform sales and customers.
• Build processes for tracking, handoff and reporting to scale with volume.
