Job summary

Cummins Inc. in the United Kingdom is seeking a Project Manager to lead the delivery and installation of genset projects in our Power Gen Department in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire.

You will oversee initiatives from initiation to completion, coordinating logistics, installation activities, and integrated test programs to ensure project success. You will drive commissioning, monitor KPIs, and manage risks while mentoring junior project managers.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple projects from initiation through to successful completion, ensuring objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality standards are achieved.
• Plan and coordinate all logistics, resources, deliveries, installation activities, and Integrated Test Programs (ITPs) to support project execution.
• Schedule and oversee commissioning activities, effectively collaborating with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Monitor, manage, and report key project performance indicators (KPIs), providing clear visibility of project progress and outcomes.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while proactively resolving issues to ensure project success.
• Drive a strong Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) culture by acting as a role model and ambassador for safety excellence.
• Mentor, coach, and develop junior Project Managers and project team members, fostering continuous learning and professional growth.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships, communicate project status effectively, and capture lessons learned to support ongoing improvement and future project success.
