Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a Project Manager from a Power Generation, Energy or Engineering background to own multi-million-pound projects for a global business, focusing on low-carbon energy solutions.

Based in Manchester with hybrid working, you will manage budgets, P&L, coordinate mechanical, electrical, civil and construction activities, and travel UK as needed to deliver safe, profitable projects.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering power generation or similar engineering projects.
• Knowledge of NEC, FIDIC, IChemE or MF1 contracts and P&L.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK.

Responsibilities

• Lead power generation projects from design to completion, including budgets and P&L.
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical, civil and construction activities with clients, suppliers and internal teams.
• Manage contracts, variations, commercial matters, project risks and overall performance.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and to required quality standards, using MS Project.
