Job summary

Arup seeks undergraduate electrical engineering students for a 6-12 week internship with the Power Systems & HV Engineers. Work on power system analysis, design and research to support a secure, sustainable electricity network.

Under mentorship, you'll contribute to client-facing and internal R&D projects, develop technical and communication skills, and join an inclusive community that supports career growth and rewards performance.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; higher degree options advantageous.
• 2:1 (or above) or equivalent preferred.
• Studying or has studied an IET-accredited course.
• Understanding of power systems analysis and/or experience in electrical design projects.
• Experience with coding languages is advantageous.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office.
• Enthusiasm for a career in electrical engineering.
• Analytical thinker with ability to innovate.
• Able to work on own initiative and be proactive.
