Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London is seeking an experienced Project Manager for Power & Infrastructure (Substations) to deliver substations, grid connections and HV works on high-profile data centre projects across the South East.

You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, manage programmes, costs and client relationships from inception to completion, ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery in live operational environments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within utilities, power, infrastructure or construction.
• Electrical, Engineering or Civils background.
• Strong understanding of NEC contracts and contract administration.
• Knowledge of FIDIC contracts would be advantageous.
• Excellent programme management and commercial awareness.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Experience delivering projects within live operational environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of multiple power and infrastructure projects.
• Drive project programmes and ensure key milestones are achieved.
• Manage client relationships and act as the main point of contact.
• Oversee commercial performance and contractual obligations.
• Lead and develop site teams and project staff.
• Manage project risks, resources and stakeholder expectations.
• Ensure compliance with NEC and FIDIC contract requirements.
• Work closely with design, engineering and operations teams to deliver successful project outcomes.
