Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London is recruiting an experienced Project Manager to oversee power and infrastructure projects, including substations and grid connections, across the South East. You will manage programmes, stakeholders, and budgets from inception to completion, driving safety, quality and client satisfaction.

The role requires proven PM experience in utilities or construction, strong NEC/FIDIC contract knowledge, and the ability to lead site teams while maintaining long-term client

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager within utilities, power, infrastructure or construction.
  • Electrical, Engineering or Civils background.
  • Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and contract administration.
  • Knowledge of FIDIC contracts would be advantageous.
  • Excellent programme management and commercial awareness.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Experience delivering projects within live operational environments.

Project Manager - Power & Infrastructure (Substations)

We are working with a leading power infrastructure contractor delivering major HV infrastructure and data centre projects across the South East. With a strong pipeline of secured work and significant growth plans, they are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager who can deliver substations, grid connections and HV works that support large projects such such as data centres.

The Role

You will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of power and infrastructure projects, driving programme performance, commercial outcomes and client relationships from inception through to completion.

Working closely with internal delivery teams, subcontractors, clients and key stakeholders, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
